<p>Wood's Marquees provide marquees for wedding celebrations, charity balls, special
parties, concerts, Christmas functions, New Years Eve parties, corporate entertainment,
client entertaining, client hospitality, theme parties, outdoor tea and garden
party, and product launches. We can advise you on the type and size of marquee
which will be most appropriate for your event. We will supply luxurious linings,
carpets tables and chairs and any other accessories you require. Whatever the
function our helpful and courteous staff will liase with the customer throughout
the installation to ensure that your requirements are being met.</p>
<p>At Wood's Marquees we offer a choice of traditional marquees or Aluminium structures.
Traditional marquees are often used where the external and interior decorating
and appearance can be most appreciated. Clearspan aluminium structures have
the advantage of having no guy ropes or central poles allowing greater flexibility
of internal layout and not requiring additional external space. </p>
<p>We also offer barn linings which are particularly appropriate in winter when
there may be concerns about the weather.</p>

<p>Traditional Pole Marquees</p>
<p>These marquees give the traditional appearance both inside and out with pleasing
shape and poles which can incorporate decorations or be made into original design
features. Modern materials are now used in a traditional way to give the best
of both worlds.</p>

<p>Clearspan Aluminium Structures</p>
<p>Clearspan marquees have an aluminium frame which is erected first. The roof
sheets and side walls are then inserted in grooves in the framework to complete
the structure.</p>
<p>Internally there are no poles giving complete freedom in the internal layout.
As no guy ropes are required they can be placed adjacent to buildings to form
an extension, or can be used in situations where space is limited. Generally
it is much easier to place this type of marquee on tarmac, concrete etc. Each
leg still requires locating but there is less disruption then with pole marquees.
This type of marquee is also more stable in adverse weather but is more time
consuming to erect and more expensive to purchase. It is therefore slightly
more expensive to hire but is of course much more flexible in its application.</p>
<p>We can offer these marquees in widths of 10ft, 20ft, 33ft, and 50ft and can
often arrange for different widths if needed. Lengths are in units of 10ft from
10ft to 200ft or more.</p>

<p>20 to 1000 Guests</p>
<p>Pleated Ivory Linings</p>
<p>All linings are pleated ivory made from flame retardant material and are usually
supplied with a coloured pelmet in a choice of colour.</p>

<p>Black Starlight Linings</p>
<p>These linings can create a disco type atmosphere in all or part of your marquee.
Lights can twinkle if required.</p>

<p>A Choice of Chair Styles</p>
<p>White plastic bistro chairs, white patio chairs or gilt wooden banqueting chairs
with seat pads in a choice of colours.</p>

<p>Tables</p>
<p>Round tables are available in two sizes, 5ft diameter (8 to 10 people) and
6ft diameter (10 to 12), we can also supply 3ft white plastic tables and 6ft
x 2ft 6in trestle tables.</p>
<p>Luxury Toilets</p>
<p>Luxury toilets can be arranged through "The Convenience Company "
(www.theconco.co.uk) complete with mahogany fittings, background music, and
carpets.</p>

<p>Wooden Floors</p>
<p>Wooden floors create a more permanent feel to a marquee and can be laid on
soft or slightly uneven ground to give a quality feel. These floors are usually
covered with new carpet in a choice of colours.</p>

<p>Dance Floors</p>
<p>Natural wooden floors with polished surface available in a variety of sizes
and shapes which really put that final finesse to your special event. </p>

<p>Lighting</p>
<p>Chandeliers, uplighters and pin spots to create the best feel for your event.</p>

<p>Indirect Heaters</p>
<p>Heaters which stand outside the marquee and provide ducted, thermostatically
controlled, clean air to keep the marquee warm in inclement weather.</p>
<p>Our marquees or tents are also suitable for temporary portable storage rentals
to supplement garage space, sheds .</p>
